China has experienced some of the most destructive natural disasters in the world’s history. Together with climate change and China’s rapid economic growth and urbanization, there is significant pressure on China’s resources, environment, and ecology. The situation is further complicated by the need to address natural disaster prevention. China’s natural disasters display the following features:diverse range ,wide geographic distribution ,high frequency ,significant loss, high disaster risk.
